Do we have a list of all the "minors" that are NOT listed on YourPace website? Because there is only a History Major here.
I was also wondering about the minors. I had no idea that history was even an option. Which classes are required for a history minor?

Technically it's not available to YourPace students. It's available to on campus students. The YourPace minors which are open to all YourPace students are on the YourPace website. Some people may have completed minors that are only open to on campus students btu that doesn't mean going forward it will be allowed.

So it is more like a case-by-case consideration on their part. Thank you.
Do you know other examples other than history?

International Studies is one of them, technically, there should be "several" minors available if the required minor courses are all on the YourPace platform. Here the the post with the screenshot for a BLS with 3 minors, one of them being International Studies: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...cess-story

It's really best to stick with what's available in YourPace. The on campus programs are just that - on campus. While there have been exceptions made, I wouldn't expect that to continue. I wouldn't plan for a minor in xyz that's only offered on campus. I would stick with the ones offered in yourPace because UMPI offers those courses in YourPace. There's no way to know if or when they'll change and no longer allow people to complete on campus minors. There have been very few people who've done them. They made some changes to YourPace this year and I expect more as the program grows and it will become even more separate from the on campus programs.

I agree in that I think it would be wisest to plan on what you know is offered to YourPace students. I transferred 143 credits in when I enrolled and noted that I needed 1 more class for the Business Administration minor and 2 more for the International Studies. All the classes I needed were available to YourPace students in one term and I finished everything else quickly, so I asked whether I could take those and complete the minors. If you know the classes you need are offered on YourPace, it wouldn't hurt to ask, but I wouldn't design my degree plan based on it ahead of time and without prior approval. As ss20ts stated, things have been changing often and will likely continue to change.

History minor requires 4 UL classes + 2 LL

It was reported by a student that you can add a minor that isn't in the YourPace program provided you get all the credits through alt credit providers.
It is probably best to get all the credits needed for your main degree first, enroll, ask to add the minor, do all the credits, and transfer them in before your term begins.
This does open Pandora's box.

Really, then, you could get a BLS with History minor - whether you brought in any courses in History or not. The upside here is that you don't need 2 semesters of Spanish (1 only); and the ability to actually choose which History courses you want to take, rather than taking the specific ones required for the History major.
For someone who was interested in becoming a Social Studies teacher, a BLS w/Education & History or PoliSci minors gets you something you might like.

The way I was offered this minor was through Jessica, who had seen I had quite a few LL history courses completed with a few UL history courses completed as well. The LL stuff was from ACE providers while the majority, if not all of the UL history classes were through UMPI. I was not aware this was offered until she had brought it up! I am not sure why its not broadly listed for YourPace students. It could have just been an exception she made due to me only needing two more UL history classes to complete another minor. I am curious, but if I got it I am sure it should be available to others!

Honestly, I'm not sure why they don't offer more either. I am considering going back to school for something, and I like UMPI, but their Education Studies minor is for someone wanting to be an elementary school teacher (no thanks), it would be nice if they had a few electives instead of specific courses to take; and History, English and PoliSci are all very good minor options that would pair nicely with that minor and are available in YourPace. Social Studies is also a good minor if you want to mix it up a little between History, PoliSci, and other SS courses you may have. They all have more electives available.
