Is it possible to obtain two different bachelor degrees from two different schools at the same time? I am currently a history major at American Military University. I love the program and will be graduating hopefully next year.
Looking at Excelsior and Charter Oak, with a few more classes, I could complete a bachelor degree in English as well. Can you use the same credits twice (would be all of the credits for the degree, except for 30 of the credits for the major)? If I went the Charter Oak route, I would use the Literature in English GRE and probably the Ohio exams, since they are going to be going to the semester system and be worth 3 credits.
The main downside for this plan, is having to complete the capstones at Excelsior and COSC, and cornerstone at Charter Oak. I could also complete at TESC, but not have a gpa. However, the idea of not having to complete another capstone is appealing. TIA

Yes. You can not, however, get 2 degrees in history per TESC's policy.

I thought of doing this too although my reasons were more nefarious. I was going to get a English Degree and a Science degree just to have the same degrees as my parents :roflol:
Also keep in mind if you took 1 course at TESC you could get a GPA if it was that important for you.

The OP already has a GPA. Anytime you ever take a class anywhere that gives a letter grade, you have a GPA. Whether or not it's printed on your diploma is irrelevant. If you NEVER take a graded class, then you don't have a GPA.

If you do try for two degrees at once (concurrent enrollment), you normally have to notify both colleges. Some will be ok with it. If you don't tell them, they may expel you and instead of getting two bachelors you get none.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

TESC doesn't have a notification requirement. Upon application for graduation, however, you have to sign a document stating that you have not earned/enrolled in the SAME degree elsewhere. This is to avoid double dipping credits.
But, you can be enrolled in as many colleges as you want. When I worked on my TESC degree, I was enrolled at 3 during the same year.

I realize this and thanks for clarifying for him, but judging from his comment he seemed to want it listed at TESC like some do, and I just wanted to clarify since he said the following.

Are you sure that having both of these degrees would add value for you? In the OP's case, it might make more sense to get one bachelor's degree and a grad degree in the other discipline.
