Well, since my comment was split off to a new post… even my husband voted for Trump twice.  And I made a similar comment at home that people who voted for Trump are idiots.  He said, “so now I am an idiot?”  I replied, well, I guess so if you voted for Trump.  How in the world would an intelligent person vote against their own interest?  BTW, hubby is a veteran and a Federal Employee.  Trump is coming for his job.  There is not a dang thing Trump is going to do that is good.  He is in it for his OWN interests and he’s got a massive amount of people believing his garbage.  Go ahead and call me “leftist” if you want.  I’m neither left nor right.  I just know a snake oil salesman when I see one.  All this other banter is just a distraction.  Trump is evil.  If you can’t see that, then you might be the one being fooled.   A lot of his cult followers are worshipping the false idea that he’s going to make them rich.  They put money and politics ahead of people.  These moves are strategic and they are for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire “yes-men”.  He doesn’t care about any of us “common folk”.  We are just a means to his own power.

Under normal circumstances, I would agree with you.  But Trump supporters continue to ignore facts and claim anything that isn’t in line with Trump is fake news.  It is truly baffling how he has such a stronghold over people.  He is unkind, not well spoken, not well educated, lies constantly, talks only about himself, paints himself as a victim even when he isn’t.  After 8+ years of this garbage, I can’t play nice anymore.  Get a decent human running for GOP - that’s fine.  But this is bonkers.

Big shocker, a lot of federal bloat needs to go. Perhaps this includes your husbands job. Oh well.

I had to endure 10+ years of lazy federal workers who should have and would have been cut at any normal private corporation. Sorry, my crocodile tears have run dry. I have a particular disdain for a large percentage of government workers.

Now let’s talk about how the Defense Intelligence Agency has sent out a memo that they won’t be observing any holidays that have to do with Blacks, women, Asians, Hispanic, or anything else that’s not about white men.  Or the hate crimes against Puerto Rican businesses in Idaho, or Hegseth retailiating against Retired general Mike Milley just because he wasn’t Trumps lap dog.   This is all hateful actions by a little man who has to put others down in order to build himself up.  If Trump were doing this as a democrat, I’d be saying the same thing.  I’m not a politician apologist.  I don’t idolize or worship politicians.  When they are horrible people, it doesn’t matter what side they are on.  Trump is a danger to our entire nation.  And anyone who can’t see that is a fool.

Men are idiots because when they believe in something, they can believe so strongly that they can feel it coursing through their veins.

They believe so strongly that they risk everything for that belief, including their own lives. This goes against the biological drive of self-preservation.
