Hi everyone,
Can I have some pointers on Business in Society TCEP? I am taking it this semester and just want to know what to focus on? How hard was the test?
Thank you very much!

I'm wondering the same thing! There's a DSST that's similar so I'm thinking that would be good prep for this test. Have you taken it already?

No I am taking it tomorrow. Hopefully I will pass. I have worked for 20 years, so maybe that will help me, lol

I am planning on taking the BUS-311-TE Business in Society this week. There does not appear to be much information about this test on here, but people keep saying to just take a different option. I do not see any acceptable equivalents for these classes at all. I looked at CLEP-to-tecep, looked at DSST-to-tecep, and I looked at study.com-to-tecep. I think I am just procrastinating now, but please if someone can recall anything from the test that would be helpful. Even if you think that it's obvious.

At SDC, you can take Business 120 or Business 308 to fill this slot. At Davar, you take International Management. You don't have to fill the slot with specifically BUS-311.

I've taken Principles of Management and Intro to Marketing at TESU as an epack. It's basically a test similar to a TECEP I would like to think. The questions were pretty challenging I think it was not something like a vocabulary test but more like how you grasp ideas. The thing that got me was they basically told you which book to study and gave you some practice quizzes to get ready for the exam. Usually at a normal college like ASU or the community colleges that I've attended they really teach and prep you on the material that will be on the test and its divided into parts. With TESU you pretty much have to read the whole book and remember a lot of it because you don't really know what will be on the test.
I found the Management class to be more challenging. I found some resources online to study and after I read the book I went back and read the main ideas plus the summary at the end several times over. I was going to create some study guides but I ran out of times due to having to all the chapters in both books.
For the Business in Society I looked at some practice questions it seems to share a lot with Management and Marketing. It will probably cross over to other classes that you may take like Sociology. I'm planning on taking that test but I may end up doing it towards the end of my degree. I will probably use the same concept and read the book and hopefully take notes. However I think it may be easier since some of the material present on it I may already know.
