@smile23, Basically review what's in the TECEP pdf document and OER info it may have... If you do well on the CLEP/MS class, you should be good for this one... It's an 'easier' TECEP exam with similar content as the CLEP/MS option...

This is a pretty easy TECEP and multiple people have reported passing it with literally 0 study. If you read the PDFs provided by Sophia for their Introduction to IT class, that's probably more than you need; at least, based on prior feedback.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I have never done this TECEP, but chances are there is a quizlet with tons of questions that might pop up in the real exam.

Yeah, very basic study would get you the pass... I would do the CLEP/MS freebies online and/or the ones with OER's just as prep...

I just took this exam today. It was a motherf’er. Maybe something has changed, as the exam didn’t seem to follow the topic weighting provided in TESU’s exam overview.
This is supposed to be a comprehensive introduction to various computer concepts. The first 30 questions were almost entirely about PowerPoint (5 to 10 may have been about Word). After the first part, I thought, “okay, that was weird, but at least no more PowerPoint.”
Wrong. Section two began with more PowerPoint questions (and some Word). This exam really wasn’t about computer concepts and applications at all. While the exam did cover some of those areas, it felt more like an exam about Microsoft Office, with general computer concepts as a bonus.
That said, I passed right on the nose with a 70. Brush up in general (I didn’t study much, just took some practice tests and quizzes), but pay extra attention to PowerPoint, and Word, assuming you have a decent computer concepts understanding aside from that.
