Taking 2 exams next Friday...am I insane?

No worries. I am definitely a noob.

I got the free clep prep provlem fighzured ouvt.

I think I need a break from studying the Soviet Union.

I started typing that second sentence and it actually started to look that way. Then, I just decided to roll with it, because it made me laugh. I think I am delirious...

So, yes, I think I have answered my own question, Laterbloomer. I am insane, but probably more as a result of trying to take these two tests tomorrow with not as much preparation as I would have liked.

So, here I go...2.75 hours to lift off.

I plan on bringing some of the study guides people have created here to look over in the car before I go in and take the tests. From everything I have read in the exam specific forums, I should expect these particular exams to be difficult. Especially Soviet Union. I hope I can remember all the names and dates. Wish me luck!

I will report back after I finish. I should know right away what my score is.

I did it! Passed both Soviet and Western Europe.

Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union I passed with a 56 (needed a 45)
Western Europe Since 1945 I passed with a 60 (needed a 45)

I used mainly IC flashcards. I also read through some of the study aids that other members of this forum had posted. I would say that anyone who is taking these tests needs to use supplemental material. I couldn't believe I passed. I really was doubting that I had many of the answers correct before I hit submit.

I keep telling people to save themselves some frustration and read a book on the topic and then do the instantcert flashcards.
The goal isn't to just pass by the skin of your teeth. The goal is to learn the content and demonstrate mastery of it.
Or atleast that should be the goal.

Do the practice tests still work on the Free Clep Prep site? I tried to register but I can't seem to get the confirmation email to be able to log in. I tried registering two days ago, so today I even clicked the button to get the confirmation email again. Still don't see it. I have checked my spam folders, too. Anyone else have this same problem?


Also, thanks so much for the encouragement! I have been reading the exam specific threads for these two exams and I was really starting to panic. After some more studying I am thinking I will probably be okay. Luckily, the school I attend doesn't assign letter grades to these, so hopefully I will pass and be on my way.

Next month it is on to Statistics and MIS. Whew, I can't wait to get it done!

I've been able to find a way into INSPIRE, but it may depend on the computer. Try searching INSPIRE Indiana Library using the 'Startpage' search engine. Maybe that would help?? I hope you figure it out and do well on your tests!!
