TESU removed over 30 credits from transcript and I have no idea why
#11
Here is the strange email I received and my other credits that are now returned.

We have solved your issue

Good morning

I'm not sure what you mean by us taking credits away.
Should you have additional questions, please create a new ticket by sending an email to academicadvising@tesc.edu with your degree program in the subject line. Thank you.

I think TESU was just slow in "evaluating" your credits completely. It just temporarily disappeared until you requested more info/updates from them.
Very good thing that you informed them about this, as long as it's not left out of your evaluation completely, you should be on the safe side now...

So I still need to test out of six classes, and writing is not my strongest subjects. But here is what I had in mind, unless TEEX or another free online class can cover something.

I'm thinking the following:
DSST First
Technical Writing
Organizational Behavior
History of the Soviet Union
Human/Cultural Geography
Substance Abuse

CLEP
American Government
Social Sciences and History
Western Civilization I:
Ancient Near East to 1648
Maybe?
College Writing
Catalog number: ENGX-110
College Composition Modular

I'm thinking the following:
DSST First
Technical Writing - also available through Study.com
Organizational Behavior - also available through Study.com, SL
History of the Soviet Union
Human/Cultural Geography - also available through Study.com
Substance Abuse

CLEP
American Government - also available through Study.com
Social Sciences and History
Western Civilization I: - also available through Study.com
Ancient Near East to 1648 - this is not a CLEP that I've heard of
Maybe?
College Writing - no idea what this will come in as, may be considered developmental - I would check first
Catalog number: ENGX-110
College Composition Modular - if you don't already have English Comp II, this only counts as English Comp I. If you need both, I would take College Comp w/Essay instead as it counts for both.

Not sure what you've taken, and what you still need, but there are lots of other options out there besides CLEP/DSST. If you need any recommendations, let us know.

If that's the UExcel College Writing, it counts as English Comp I and the CLEP College Comp Modular would duplicate, as dfrecore mentioned.

I think "Ancient Near East to 1648" is the subtitle of the CLEP Western Civilization I.

You could also take US History I and II and Modern European History along with a bunch of math from Shmoop.com if you don't have those credits already.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
