I sure hope that's not what COSC did, anyways, the thought of COSC being seedy is leaving a bad taste in my mouth as they were my initial choice before I chose TESU.

I imagine that there was a set time-limit that they had to be in the program, and they waited at least that long before leaving. But I wonder what made them leave? It would be interesting to hear the reasoning.

Not that it makes a huge difference, because they accept the credits. But I'm just wondering.

They probably had to give the money back or didn't stay long enough to get it. I was just making a joke.

That's the way I'm reading it too...wth?

So, if you ALREADY accept ACE credit, why wouldn't you be listed on the ACP? That's very bizarre. I wish I knew the real story- it's so suspicious that ACP advertised the Charter Oak relationship in Sept only to have COSC walk a few weeks later. Hmmm.... there has to be a missing piece.

It seems like we are jumping to a lot of conclusions here. There is no reason to assume COSC has done something unethical just because they are no longer a partner.

I'm more interested in why they stopped the partnership. It just seems strange since there seem to be possible benefits and very little extra costs to the college/university itself, especially with a school that accepts alternative credit anyway. So maybe ACP charges a yearly "membership" fee to schools or something? It's just interesting.

Perhaps there weren't many benefits and the costs were no longer "very little"?
