Some general questions:

1. How soon did you start on the final paper?  It seems like the reading, case studies and discussions never end up until the last day.  I just wondered when most people start the final paper? 

2. Did you skip any of the work to make time for the final paper?

3. Did you need a course extension in order to finish the paper?

1. Try to work a week or two ahead. There's a long gap during the midterm period and during the last two weeks of the course. Whatever time you're spending on a case study, I'd say you need 2.5-3x that for the final project.
2. If you're crunched for time, do the bare minimum for the discussion questions.
3. Most don't from my understanding. I didn't.

1) I started too late, I should have chosen a topic and started right after the midterm. I had paralysis of the analysis, do not do that.
- also, don't start too soon, because you need feedback from your case studies in order to do well on the final paper.

2) No

3) Yes, but only because I got really sick with bronchitis during that last month. If I'd started the paper earlier though, I wouldn't have needed an extension.

1. Started researching just after the mid term but did not outline until about 1 week out. Once I had the outline, filling in the writing and filling in became much easier. I did the Lockheed Martin scenario and knocked it out in 2-3 sessions. Can't emphasize enough how a solid outlining game has helped this old man to write academic papers. I also use Evernote to clip webpages and articles as well as Scribbr to do my APA citation formatting.

2. I believe the last module was combined into a two week final timing but also had the final paper in it. So had to do the last case study #7, two discussion forums and the final paper all in the last two weeks. In the end, wasn't too bad.

3. No finished early.
