TESU EVALUATION help
#1
Hi, again. Got the TESU EVALUATION for BALS- Humanities. They are saying another course is needed to fill 2: Liberal Studies- Humanities, but I was wondering if I can take the ENG218 in the Electives to fill it and then use one of the courses from the “Other Courses” to fill the gap in Electives?

2: Liberal Studies-Humanities (18SH) In Progress

Group1
COM 326
COM 341
ENG 325
ENG 306
3 credits needed

Group 2
COM 290

3: Liberal Studies General Coursework (12SH) Complete
HIS 450
PSY 350
PSY 370
His 351

4: Liberal Arts Capstone (Not started)

5: Electives (27SH) (COMPLETE)
ENG 218
SPE 200
PSY 212
PSY 237
PSY 210
PSY 230
EDU 299
Edu 104
SFL 110

Other Courses:
FEL 101
NUT 199
PSY 211

P.S. They said my study.com Developmental Psychology was “Ruled ineligible for this program” and “non-course equivalency.” What does that mean? Does it mean I can’t use it as an elective?

NE (Non-Course Equivalency) just means that it isn't a college course from an RA school, which would be labeled TE (Transfer Equivalency). All of your alternative credit should be labeled NE. They place courses in your eval in the following order:

AOS Requirements
AOS Electives (General Coursework)
GenEd Requirements
GenEd Electives
Free Electives
Other Courses

If any of your free electives would have worked in that empty AOS slot, they would already have been placed there.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

I agree with Dave, however, it's worth asking to be sure it wasn't misplaced in there by mistake. That happens, and if it was a mistake, then yes, you can do exactly as you described.

Thank you! Turns out it was a mistake! And they have corrected it quickly and without an issue. Always worth it to ask if you think there might be a mistake.
