TESU BSBA classes
#1
Has anyone taken Principles of management, Business in society, Business 308 or Principles of Marketing through TESU? My schedule right now is full of classes and I'm planning on taking a few classes through ASU starting August 18.
However I need to sort of take a full graded class through TESU because I'm trying to avoid paying the residency waiver fee. My job pays up $2,500 per year on tuition but it needs to be from an RA school and I need to get it done before the end of the year. I have not used it this year and with my other classes I'm looking for an "easy" class that I could take that I have not taken yet. Right now I'm grinding through College Algebra through ASU (ALEKS) and hopefully get it done before the 19th when my other classes start.
I'm thinking that I can read the book in the mean time for Principles of Management or another "easy" class then take the actual class come September.
I'm hoping to get an Accounting degree fro TESU and Accounting classes tend to be time consuming so I'm leaving that for next year when hopefully I'll have more time.
If anybody has taken any of those classes and has any insights on them I'll appreciate it.

It wasn't clear from your post, but just to be clear, you do realize that to avoid the residency waiver fee at TESU you will need to take 16 credits (6 courses) from TESU to fulfill residency requirements, yes? TECEP exams do not contribute to those credits, while your capstone will.

If you've already earned 10+ credits from courses taken at TESU and you are just looking for 3 more credits before the capstone, then you're golden. I recommend taking SOS-110 if you haven't already taken it, since it is required anyway and it is pretty easy. Beyond that, I'd recommend looking for any lower-division introduction course (100-299 level course)... particularly if it is in a subject you're already familiar with. Intro classes tend to be the easiest to pass. This can include a math or science class if you're already an expert in the field, but they also tend to be more rigorous than many of the introductory level 100-299 courses and are less likely to be considered "easy."

If you don't already have at least 10 TESU credits under your belt, then you've got a long way to go before you can avoid the residency waiver fee.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
