Good Afternoon Everyone,
I have never posted before, but I have used so much helpful information from all of you over the past 2 years to help me work toward my degree. After the course I'm currently taking with TESU, I will have 105 of my 120 credits.
Originally, I had planned to take more courses with TESU, but I realized that I've already actually hit my 30 RA credit requirements and can explore other options for a few of the other courses I had planned to save time and/or money.
Would there be anyone here willing to take a look at my degree plan and give me some suggestions to fill in those courses? The link is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing
Thank you all for the amazing information that exists here. I would be nowhere near this close to finishing without it!

Yes, Sophia should work for Principles of Finance.
Here are a few suggestions for Business/Society (and Communications below it): https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ss/Society
MAN-373 is also available as a TECEP: https://www2.tesu.edu/listalltecep.php

Thank you both so much for the direction. I'm reaching out to my advisor now to see what would be the best path. I'm so ready to finish up this degree!!!

Sophia
Sophia has a new Business Communication course. It's not yet official it transfers though it most likely will.
Sophia's Principles of Finance will transfer for sure. That is what I took.
Intro to Business is a short easy course.
Study.com ($140 a month for the first 3 months with coupon. Includes 2 final exams)
BUS 120: International Business is a short easy course
COM 120: Presentation Skills in the WorkPlace (If you do this, then don't do Intro to Business. Or swap out Business Communications if you don't want to gamble that Sophia's course transfers in)
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

OMG, do not ask your advisor! Just take the courses. TESU advisors are the worst, and are more likely than not to give you bad info.

More options for courses:
International Management & Managerial Communications from Davar ($99 for both + proctoring fees)
Introduction to Business & Introduction to Finance @ Sophia
Communications at Work @ Sophia as an extra elective "just in case", while you've already got a Sophia subscription, because this course is super fast and easy to complete. The single Touchstone takes 15-30 minutes at most. Introduction to College Mathematics is another good one if you're comfortable with math. If so, can probably be completed in a few hours.

I'm not aware of it actually working in other areas, though it might.

Seconding this. Do not ask your advisor. If you ask your advisor if the next full moon is on a Tuesday, they might tell you it's on a Saturday even if it is on a Tuesday. Or they might tell you the moon doesn't exist. It's possible to ask them very specific targeted questions, but it's still at best a 50/50 shot whether they'll give you useful & truthful information.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

You can always mix/match the courses around so it'll be "easier" to finish them. TESU accepts NCCRS as well, so you can take 2 Davar business courses at $129 all in ($99/2 business courses, $15/proctor exam). I think you should get in contact with an advisor only when you need something done, such as pre-approving the courses and placing them into your degree plan.
