You really need a specific degree in Europe if you want to go into certain fields. In the US, the exact degree doesn't matter as much as it does in Europe.
Hi,
In second thoughts I believe you are totally right. I will try to prepare a plan for CS an post it for review.
Thanks

Just a quick question: where did you get this template? Because it's wrong. Knowledge of Human Cultures is wrong (you can't just do 15cr of SocSci or Humanities, there are VERY specific things you need here); and the courses listed in each area is wrong (Public Speaking and College Algebra are not required, you can use any number of courses for these). Understanding the Natural World is wrong (you can use NatSci OR CompSci courses). And the Electives in IIc area can be NatSci, but can also be CompSci or Math.
So I would say that you are either misunderstanding the requirements, or whoever put this degree plan is, and you should not continue to follow it until you understand the requirements better.
Specifically with the degree plan:
1) The ACTFL OPIc Spanish exam cannot be used entirely in the Knowledge of Human Cultures. You can use 3cr for Humanities, and 6cr for Humanities/SocSci. the other 3cr will go in Free Electives
2) Learning in the Digital Age cannot be used in that area, it's a Free elective
3) Sophia's Intro to IT duplicates the Computer Concepts TECEP, so you have to take that out
4) You have an 18cr term at TESU, which they won't allow; remove Intro to Programming or Python Programming
5) Add the 1cr PLA-100 course so that you have the 16cr term that TESU will allow
6) You need a History course
7) You need a SocSci course
This puts you at 28cr of RA. Again, I'm going to suggest ONU's English Comp, as I've heard zero good things about Sophia's English Comp classes, and they are taking so long to grade papers now that you'll be hard-pressed to finish in a month, which means that if you go into a second month to finish each course, you're now at $158 for that - meaning it's more expensive than ONU at $150. And I've heard excellent things about ONU.

I'm not sure why you have SDC calculus listed. That is probably the most difficult calculus that you could do because you're only allowed a very basic calculator on the exam.
For Knowledge of Human Cultures, while Spanish is counted as being under "knowledge of foreign cultures" according to https://www.tesu.edu/academics/courses/j...r#Cultures as is Learning in the Digital Age, they want 3 credits of Social Sciences, 3 credits of History, 3 credits of Humanities, and 6 credits of anything (social science/humanities/history).
For a Computer Science degree, you really DO need Algebra at minimum. I would recommend doing ALL of the math at Sophia, then moving on to a FREE audit of Precalculus and Calculus at ASU as I mentioned in a previous post. CSM Learn will possibly not work there.

For the last few people who have "added their spreadsheet", I've not read their contents yet. The reason is simple, the info provided wasn't clear enough of exactly why they want the degree and what their situation is. After the updates made by OP, I am still curious why it should be TESU or a USA degree. My suggestion is the following instead, for the cost, ease, speed.
The OP is already working with computers/programming, has workplace training in Electronics/IT field, we're not trying to "get into the industry". If they were in their 20's and trying to get into the industry, I would focus on the basics more. At this juncture in time, you have the experience to back you up, you may just need a certificate or degree to extend/upgrade your credentials.
1) (USA 6 Months) UMPI BLS MIS, (Italy 1 Year) Masters in Computer Science from Guglielmo Marconi University.
You can get a basic Bachelors degree to get admissions to a Masters that doesn't use much programming/math.
Link: https://www.gmuonline.org/en/academics/study-programmes
2) (USA 6 Months) UMPI BLS MIS, (USA 1 Year) Masters in Applied Computer Science from SEMO
Again, a basic Bachelors for entry, you have to take 2 prerequisite courses (for fundamentals of computing & programming).
Link: https://semo.edu/academics/programs/onli...nline.html
3) (USA 1 Year) TESU BACS, (USA 2 Year) Masters from either Georgia Tech or U of Texas - Austin.
This will give you a very good understanding of Computer Science and also get into a Top 50 Masters degree in the world. That is if you can get into the programs after the TESU BACS.
4) I'm not sure why you haven't checked your own country for options, but here's an interesting one, it will be 3 years for the Bachelors though, so I would not go for this, it's just as a last resort type of thing, you can go for something else and a Masters in your home country.

5) Another Link for options available for individuals in Italy, Pegaso: https://www.unipegaso.it/corsi-di-laurea
There may be other options, you may want to check the search for Italy and also the sister board. Good luck, have fun, don't rush things.

Depending on the OP career goals, the Management or Project Management Minors may be appealing as well.

That's correct, when I reach OP's age in a decade, I'll most likely look towards Management then or other options for preparing the Retirement stages of my life, I won't be looking to get another degree to "break" into a different industry or anything remote to that. I may however take courses towards a masters/doctorate or something that interests me, such as graduate certificates or a grad diploma.

While you will probably take College Algebra on the way to Calculus, it's not required - these are recommendations.
You can also use College Algebra in the AoS Electives area instead of as a GE course.

Hi,
Thanks for the effort to give some options, but why do you think I was not checking the options in Italy ? Actually, as I already said in previous posts, here in Italy is not possible to have an approach of competency based exams like the one offered for example by tesu. Furthermore, the options that you are listing are mostly at master level and I’m looking to get a bachelor in as short time as possible, exactly because I want after that to gain also a master. I don’t need the degree for working reason since I’m already working in a good position, thanks to a long career and a continuous education in specific technical and managerial areas. That said, if you have advice for a quicker bachelor degree that will allow after to enter a master it will be very nice.
Ciao
