Study.com recommendations?
#1
Was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on some courses at study.com. My school advisor is no help on anything outside of the school so I have to figure it out myself.
I have most of my general education classes done already but still need a few.
Digital Literacy. My school has a class called IS Principles as the class.
Civic Responsibility. My school has American national government as the class.

My next two classes I'm asking about are in my general education and also as classes for my major. Looks to me they are UL
Oral & interpersonal communication. An UL Business communication class is what they have planned.
Intercultural & global awareness. UL international business is scheduled for this.

Any suggestions on courses for these? I get confused trying to figure out what generally transfers as what. I know they may not fill the requirements but figure it's worth a shot. Worst case scenario is I take the courses at study.com and they just transfer as electives.

What school are you attending, and do you plan to stay there?

Many schools don't take ACE credits at all.

I'm at Ashford. They accept them. May not accept as equivalents, that's a chance I'll take. And I plan on staying until I get my degree. They seem to be a pain but it isn't costing me a dime.
I have had to sift through their policies myself. Advisor isn't any help on credits outside of school, even with their direct partnerships like Sophia and SL.

Study.com has International Business and Business Communication, but they have LL ACE recommendation. They also have Leadership Communication which is UL but it's not listed as a communication class. I wouldn't risk those if it were me.

But schools usually don't want UL for interpersonal communication. So I would do Study.com Com 102 Interpersonal Communication and Political Science 102: American Government.

I would probably do Straighterline IT Fundamentals for Digital Literacy if I were looking for something easy.

@Ideas perhaps you can help me out. I have almost mapped out everything that I need for a BSBA in International Business with TESU, but the catch is that I can find the Area of Study for the Business side anywhere. The 12 hours is required from a list: International Accounting, International Monetary Systems, International Transportation, Import-Export Management, Law and Multinational Business, Management of Foreign Operations, and Multinational Entry Strategies. I need four of these classes and have yet to find one. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
See you out there, Space Cowboy...

This is a harder AOS, because there aren't enough inexpensive/test-out-able courses available.  But here's what I've found:

BUS308: Globalization and Int'l Mgmt - Study.com
Multinational Business Finance - Davar
International and Multi-Cultural Marketing - CSU-Global $250
Comparative Economics and Global Business 1800-Present - CSU-Global $250

And then 2 of the following courses from APU ($810 each):
Global & Competitive Strategy
International Logistics Management
International Trade & Regulations

Since all of these courses are UL, you might be able to find 2 LL courses for less at a CC or something.
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers  DSST Computers, Pers Fin  CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone  Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats  Ed4Credit Acct 2  PF Fin Mgmt  ALEKS Int & Coll Alg  Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics  Kaplan PLA
