True; for NCCRS courses, you definitely need to send the SDC transcript. No way around that.

I'm not sure the date on this part of TESU's site, but it seems to state that SDC has to come from SDC even for ACE courses

"For Study.com, we will not accept the credit from the ACE transcript, only the Study.com transcript is acceptable for credit review."

It's best to send them all through Credly and the respective ACE/NCCRS provider, as there is no fee involved. TESU would accept the credits accordingly (although it may be repetitive if it's coming from both sources). I received reminders from them before, see previous post #4.

Thanks for all the replies. I am not enrolled at TESU yet. I was planning to get as many credits from alternative sources before enrolling and doing the couple of courses required by TESU. I talked to my contact at TESU, not an advisor, because I don't have an advisor yet, and was told that TESU will not do another evaluation for me until I enroll and I should just finish all my courses at SDC and them turn them in all together. We'll see how it goes. I'm not exactly breaking any records getting these SDC courses completed. So far, they are kicking my ass!

I have to say that I wouldn't wait very long to become enrolled and send in my credits. TESU sometimes changes policies or transfer equivalencies. If the credits are already on your transcript, then the changes won't apply to them.

Agreed - 100%. TESU usually makes catalog changes on July 1, and they can be BIG changes that will negatively affect you.
My advice is to apply, send in everything immediately, and then register for the TECEP exam. That both locks in your catalog, and unlocks unlimited evals. You don't even have to take the exam for this benefit to kick in.
With TESU, there is no downside to becoming enrolled, since they don't charge fees for being enrolled. You just need to pay attention to the 1-yr mark when you need to re-register for the TECEP if applicable.

If I just send them my SDC transcripts so they have it on file without enrolling, even if I don't get a new evaluation, would that be good enough? Or will they not even accept it?

It will just sit until you either enroll and they evaluate it, or they purge it after a time. It won't help with anything.

That's right, sending them information that they won't take wouldn't be necessary. I would focus on your degree plan and completing requirements before applying, enrolling, and getting your credits evaluated. I believe you're going for the Associates in Comp Science degree as per your previous thread... You should create a spreadsheet, link us to the file on your google/one drive and make it viewable (not editable). Create one for your Bachelors as well... We can comment on the remaining credits...

July is coming up fast. I wouldn't recommend "concentrating on degree requirements" over getting enrolled to unlock unlimited evaluations.
