Does anyone know if public speaking is 1 credit because it is easier than other options?

I have 2 out of 3 credits in the requirement oral communication for COSC.

It's probably less work - in ACE, it says it's about 20 hours to take the course, where in a lot of the other courses they show somewhere from 60-120 hours to complete a course (there's a range for every course).

But, it's still the same price - $199/mo, and you can take 2 exams. So if you only needed the 1cr, then that would be a lot to pay for it. But if you needed that plus an additional course, then it might be worth it.

Study.com had updated the new courses with its equivalent at TESU!

Well, it's a bummer that the Advanced OM course is just counting the same as regular OM, Leadership and Org Behavior duplicates their Org Behavior course, Advanced Tech Writing (which is UL on ACE) duplicates regular Tech Writing (and is considered LL), and Causes and Effects of the Vietnam War duplicates History of the Vietnam War.

BUT, one good piece of news: Globalization and International Management counts as International Management, which I'm assuming will cover the International Business Requirement.

I did send a request out to TESU a few weeks ago specifically asking about these new courses, and pointed out which courses I was hoping would be new course numbers, and the lady said she would let me know as soon as they had done some research on the courses, so I'm hoping maybe this is all preliminary, and she might actually do some additional research on a few courses; we shall see.

I will contact her again and see if we can't get a few changes made, and a confirmation that International Business has a new inexpensive way to get credit. But, it's still good to see those in writing. Thanks for posting!

It looks like all of their courses are listed as 3 credits now (some used to be only worth one credit).

Also, if TESU will accept Organizational Behavior as PSY-361 as they do with the DSST version, you could complete the entire concentration for a BA in Social Science solely with Study.com courses and the Capstone.

I resent an email today, asking them to review the courses that might be incorrect (2nd Vietnam War course, 2nd Org Behavior course, Adv OPM, and Adv Tech Writing). Hoping to get someone to take a second look.
