Why people are using study.com considering a little expensive than Sophia?
Is it study.com has some other courses what sophia does not offers?
Is study.com Proctored exam easy to do ? Like how sophia is open book.

Sophia has a limited selection of courses available. Study.com has those and many more. Some of Study.com's courses (such as English Comp II) can be easier than the Sophia version.
But where Study.com wins is that it has a large selection of upper-level courses available. It would be pretty much impossible to get many TESU degrees without the use of SDC. Students who are going to UMPI can opt to only use Sophia and they'll be fine, but students going elsewhere need SDC.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

@tuckerarabi786, you can't complete all the requirements of the degree entirely through alternative credit at any of the institutions we recommend. You can transfer a max, of either 90 or more credits, depending on which institution. Out of those, Sophia.org and Study.com may not have the max transferable. Sophia.org are mainly lower level and Study.com has both lower level & upper level, thus I always tell people to use a 'combo', the Sophia.org/Study.com combo is the best option so far... before it used to be StraighterLine/Study.com as Sophia.org was $329/course, instead of $99/month unlimited courses!

You can transfer 113cr to Excelsior from a single provider like SDC - they don't have a limit on a single provider, or an RA minimum.

@tuckerarabi786, here's a brief on transfer credits to the Big 3 on the first post, the bulk of it is for TESU.

They are trying to extract more subscription fees out of students. If there was an issue with ACE credits then I wouldn't have been able to do 16 classes on Sophia.org in 1 billing period/month. Once I get this last exam done I will never use Study.com again solely based off this interaction with them.
This is how the alt credit providers go. Can you do 16 classes at Sophia now? You probably cant - with the addition of assignments for some classes and the 2 classes at a time limit. They installed a few guard rails after folks went to the mattresses on it.
As it should be. It's like inflating a balloon - air goes in until resistance is met and then it pops. It happens with MANY things on the site. Study.com, or Sophia, or the Big 3 altering their requirements. Heck, even Coursera courses saw the Big 3 make it harder after a number of us tried to fill in the equivalency charts with what coursera cert equals what course..
For Study.com, it sounds like you are making a pretty empty threat. You indicate you have ONE more Study exam to take and then you're done. As well, you'll never use them again.
If you had one Study exam to do, and were permitted to take it in the prior billing period, would you take another exam from them? No, the last exam is your last exam.
You won't be taking more exams with them - regardless of your opinion of their policy -- because you took the exams you need for the credits to apply to your degree.
If you were truly upset about the injustice from Study, you'd refuse to take that last exam from them and find another provider. At least then, your action would match your outrage and you'd have the courage of your convictions.
Good luck with your degree and hope you finish it quickly!!!
