Hi all,
I have ranted and raved about this site to a neighbor who took the plunge and applied to TESC to see where her credits would fall. She was thinking of taking the Spanish CLEP and was informed that it is worth 9 credits, not 12. I had misinformed her because I wasn't aware of the change and I'm glad she checked for herself. I confirmed on both the CLEP and ACE
erhaps someone else has mentioned this here but just in case, I wanted to share with you all since I know that there is a lot of mention of it being worth 12 credits altogether.
So basically, if you score a 50+ on the Spanish Level 1 CLEP, you get 6 lower-level credits which translate to SPAN 101 & SPAN 102 at TESC.
If you score a 63+ on the Spanish Level 2 CLEP, you get 9 lower-level credits, which translate to SPAN 101, SPAN 102 and SPAN 201 at TESC. Credit for SPAN 202 is no longer awarded through the Spanish CLEP.
Sorry if this is redundant. I did a quick search and didn't see it posted anywhere.
