Start over with WGU MSN or transfer credits to a non-RA MSN?

I don't know, an MSN/MBA combo makes sense in a way. Depends on the idiosyncrasies of a given employer. I would add that in my opinion the idea of academic incest isn't an issue, so you got your double masters at the same school... So what?

I'd be very Leary of throwing dollars at an expensive MSN, especially if things are tight.

Of course with that said... I'm still waiting for this WGU MBA to scaffold me to the next level. I don't know if it being from a better known school would move the needle any faster.

The New Mexico option sounds intriguing.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

While this would be an attractive option, it isn't realistic for me.

someone's been looking over my shoulder lol. No, seriously, that's what our family did. We moved across the country so my husband could teach at a university that is part of a reciprocal program that includes 630 other universities. That's free tuition for all 4 of our children and myself, he gets 75% reimbursed graduate study online or 90% reimbursed butt in seat.

I ended up just switching my concentration at the University of Memphis back to Executive Leadership (which is what I did last year). This is the second time I've flip-flopped, so I'm just going to stick with it this time. I agree that the MSN/MBA should be a home run if I continue with the administration track. I hope that we're both right. I've accepted a case management position with a larger hospital in my system, and plan on doing that for a year or so before attempting to move into a nursing unit manager role.
