Any info on Sophia’s Principles of Management, specifically the touchstone? It’s the first Sophia class I’m tackling that has a touchstone and I’m curious how intensive/important it is. It seems like a lot of research, but maybe I’m overthinking it? Any feedback is appreciated!

All of the Touchstones are important because they impact your final grade. This class didn't have a Touchstone when I took it so I can't tell you about the intensity. There will be research involved to some degree for most if not all Touchstones. Follow the instructions and the rubric. The rubric is what the graders are supposed to grade on.
Fwiw it is evaluated at upper level (the only Sophia course to be-that I’m aware of) so therefore it probably is more intense but at the same time probably worth it for the upper level credit.

It may not transfer as UL though. Some evaluations and rankings are really odd.

I think Pats20 is referring to TESU. For UMPI, it's showing Principles of Management comes in LL as Intro to Biz overlapping the Intro to Biz course.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning. Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

I’ll be transferring to TESU so it should come in as UL and be worth the extra effort.

Any feedback is appreciated! It's not that intensive actually. It's a powerpoint of 13 slides, but they give you details on exactly what they want. I did the touchstone in about 2 hrs. But they give you a template, and then you just research a company, use references, etc. I definitely overthought it but I ended up getting a 91 out of 100 on it.
