Sophia Courses - Questions
#1
Does anyone know if the Sophia project management coarse transfers into TESU?  Or if it counts for any of the GenEd requirements? I’m trying to get my BSBA degree plan put together. Not sure what area it fulfills.  Thanks!

It's just going to be a general elective.  Study.com will actually fulfill the MAN-435 requirement.  But if you need electives; it's either free or cheap so have fun.

Hi!

Sophia Project Management transfers into TESU as MAN-235 Project Management.

Back when I took it, it transferred in as upper level MAN-435.  It's still listed as upper level today for me. It was placed in "Electives".  Confirm with TESU if things have changed, because I took the course in 5/2015.

Oh WOW!!!!  Things have changed.  I forget who it was that advised me (all of us really), but this speaks to the fact that you should always take opportunities as they come.  Nothing is guaranteed to stay the same!

Does anyone know, or have successfully transferred in Sophia Business Communications to TESU?

Trying to decide how to satisfy the remaining class I need for the Intellectual and Practical Skills requirement.

TESU is specifically looking for English Comp I/II for Intellectual & Practical Skills. You can take English Comp from a variety of places, but Business Communications is not going to work.

Assuming you already have English Comp I, II can be a TECEP, a DSST, English Comp II at Sophia, or English 205: English Composition II at Study.com.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
