Sophia.org just recently released the US Government course, it's also the better option to complete the Biology & lab science credit as well...
Thank you very much! I will be sure to do so. That makes 9 courses at Sophia with possibly some well needed time off before the next session starts.

I'm not sure why it shows I just need one BIO course because I haven't taken any yet. I will look into that, thank you very much.

It's one combined course at Study.com. It's two courses at Sophia, but should be overall easier/faster/cheaper. Study.com used to be the best option for Bio w/Lab and American Gov, but Sophia added them recently. However, even though we're all assuming that US Gov will transfer from Sophia to UMPI, I'm not sure that anyone has actually done it yet, so there is still a small risk that it won't transfer.
If all you have left at Study.com is MIS, then you may want to consider taking it at UMPI. If you do take MIS at Study.com, then make sure you sign up with a discount code: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...des?page=5 and consider adding one more course because two exams are included in the monthly subscription.

You don't need courses from Study. Focus on the ones you need from Sophia. It will be much faster on Sophia. Cheaper too. You can also ask to push your start back to Summer 2 if you need to. It's not a problem.

Thank you that is a great suggestion!

Very much this. I think I pushed back my start date three times. Life happens!

If US Government doesn't transfer (and please let us know if it does!), even though it should, it's only one relatively short paper at UMPI. It's great if you can get your UMPI classes down to 10 exactly, but I think most students here do 11-13 and complete them in an average of 2 sessions. Still, complete as much as possible at Sophia to save you both time and money at UMPI!

Thanks so much! I am going to do just that. I feel better now, I was getting worried it was too late.

I will definitely update when I find out. Thank you!

Do you know if I can do both simultaneously? As in not pushing back my UMPI start date and work in Sophia if there is downtime waiting for papers to be graded/milestone approval.

Yes, you can work on both simultaneously, but I still wouldn't recommend that route, even if you have no commitments and can cram all you can...It all depends on you...It's like paying for two subscriptions of service and you won't get your money's worth. I would again finish all you can with Sophia.org and then complete the rest with UMPI in the next session.

You can do both Sophia and UMPI, but it's not advisable. As you can have 2 courses open on UMPI so you can keep going while waiting for Milestones to be affirmed and the Rough Draft returned. There isn't much down time when you have 2 or 3 classes open. It's easier to get everything done on Sophia. Once you're enrolled at UMPI, you need written permission from your academic advisor to transfer in additional courses. They have generally given approval in the past, but that could change. You would also be taking time away from your UMPI classes. Doing both at the same time will most likely slow you down.
