Shmoop math now or later?
#1
I plan to do 2 bachelor's. I know that some people think that's a waste. My question involves what courses I can take when getting 2 degrees.

I have a Calculus credit (AP exam) already. So after I get one degree, I cannot get credit for Shmoop Pre-Calc or Geometry anymore?

If that's true, I'll take Geometry now and maybe Pre-Calc.

For a 2nd bachelors at TESU, you must:

Quote:Complete a minimum of 24 credits. These credits must be in the area of study and/or core of the degree. These credits must be earned after the date the most recent degree, regardless of academic level, was conferred.

So it's a question of when getting those courses done will best help you, which would depend on what the two degrees are. The level of mathematics is only important to the degree requirements.

It helps me more to wait. So you see no problem with someone getting a BS/BA including Calculus, and when working on their second BS/BA, taking Pre-Calc? I thought I read that you can't.

I've never heard of such a restriction, but I am admittedly math-phobic and might have blocked it out on general principles Smile Jsd or dfrecore will know for certain.

I think it really depends on the school. I don't think TESU has a restriction like that.

The main issue (at TESU) is that the remaining 24cr are in your major. So unless your second degree is math, then I don't think these courses will count anyway. And if it is math, I don't think they're high-level enough to count anyway.
