Failed the exam or the course? By how much? You can retake Study.com exams up to three times per 30 days, so if you were close, then that may be your best bet. Sophia definitely doesn't have Discrete Math, and StraighterLine doesn't appear to have it either, so not sure what the other options are?

Plus, there may the opportunity to pick up a few extra points by retaking quizzes as long as one didn't already max out their quiz score or use all 3 attempts per quiz.

That's a good point. I was hopefully assuming that it was maxed out, as is typically the advice on this forum, but if you can use this technique to get the average score up to, or at least closer to, 70, then go for it!

If you get 100% on the quizzes, then you only need 55% on the exam to pass.
If you can score 65% on the practice exam, you should be able to pass.
You get 3 tries on the final exam. They don't reset the course if you fail 3 times. Study.com is the best place to take discrete math.
What was your score for the quizzes?
What was your score on the final exam?

I recently finished this... like Lev says, if you got 100% on the quizzes, you only need 55% on the exam. This is true of any SDC course without assignments... Are you SURE you failed? Redo any quizzes you didn't get 5/5 on (and haven't taken more 3 times already). The exam was actually a lot better than I expected, to be honest. I'm guessing you left some quiz points on the table.
Sophia nor SL have Discrete Math, btw. As far as I can recall, no other ACE/NCCRS providers do. But I haven't looked into it much because I wouldn't want to do it outside of SDC.

As others have already said, are you sure you failed? It has happened before, but most people are able to pass SDC's Discrete Math due to how little weight (relatively speaking) is put on the final exam. If you did fail, I think the cheapest source for Discrete Math is currently Oakton Community College. There are no other alternate sources at this point in time, only RA sources.

I haven't failed a Study.com course before, but can't you take the course again? I think they will reset your course and let you retake the exam after X days. In any case, see if you can "bump up your points" by redoing some quizzes if you're very close to the 70% threshold. If you're pretty far from the 70%, then email support to see if you can redo/retake the course.

If you have already taken each quiz 3 times and the final 3 times, SDC will not reset the course for you. This is why it's super, super important to 100% every quiz within the first 3 attempts. If you only have 80% on the quizzes, for example, then you need to pass the exam with 66% instead of 56%. Still possible, but it becomes harder the lower your quiz scores.

That's the thing, we don't know more details except "I failed, now what?" OP needs to tell us what the final score was and what their quiz/exam score is. The main thing really is the number of failed attempts on the final, if they can redo the final and pass, that's the easiest option. I suspect they've gone through all this already, but in case they only went through the quizzes or finals just once, they can try a second and third time. Study.com remains the cheapest and only alternative credit course I know for Discrete Math.
