There is no really much choice. In some cases SDC courses are not the best option for some subjects. Thus, it would be great to have options. Also Sophia courses structured well in most cases. I would love to see what they can do with computers science courses.
They can always be taken at a college as well. Yes, they will cost more, but you may get more out of them if they were an actual college course. I think we will continue to see Sophia grow based on their quarterly report and the interviews that went along with it.

Lumen Learning has also been used for English Composition II, Principles of Finance, and Human Biology. What's Lumen Learning? It's a platform/system that provides inexpensive pre-made courses for institutes of higher learning.
The courses that Lumen has on offer are listed here: https://lumenlearning.com/wp-content/upl...0-2020.pdf
You might notice that it matches Sophia's current offerings fairly well! Sophia is missing several, including some that have been mentioned on this thread:
- Spanish I & II
- Science courses, including chemistry & geology
- Precalculus
- Calculus
- Technical writing
- Intro to Literature
- American Literature
- Marketing
They should offer more of these type of courses and as long as other providers don't have them, they can make a profit from it. Sophia is pretty good at creating more course content. I hope they get more courses rolled out, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I didn't finish it, but I still managed to pass. Before these last two units, I would have said I would like to see Bus. Stats. at Sophia. Now? I don't know if I could survive it.
Business Stats is easier. Technically it's not a math class. It's a business class. I have not seen any college accept it as a math course. I took it years ago and it always comes in as Business Stats never Intro to Stats.
