Whenever SL gets around to grading your speeches, can you post back here and let us know how long it took? Just wondering, thanks!

My speeches took around 36 hours to get graded. However, I'm not sure if it was very serious, because I got the same grade and almost the same comments three times.

Posted this morning so 2 days. These were by far the worst speeches of my life recorded with no practice and honestly very little effort. I got 10/10 on intro, 97/100 on informative, and 98/100 on persuasive. I can now get a zero on the final and get a B in the class. Easy credits!

I don't remember even *getting* comments when mine were graded, I'll have to log back into my SL count and look to see if I missed them.

hilarious I'm a shy guy, so what I did was do everything including the final (got 86%) before I even did my Intro, Informative, and Persuasive.

I'm just starting this course now. I'm wondering what the quickest way to proceed through the course is? Should I skip the online lessons and just read the chapters in the textbook?

I went straight to the quizzes and used a searchable ebook since they are open book. Try it on the first quiz and see how you do. You can retake the first quiz for a higher score if you need to.

Thanks! I'll give it a go. I'm wishing now I'd bought the ebook instead of a used copy of the physical book.

I just finished the final exam and I'm currently at 98% and haven't done my informative or persuasion speeches yet. I'm not too worried about those though. I just wanted to get the tests out of the way. Once I'm completely finished I'll write up a review for a new post.

Do you think it's absolutely necessary to buy the book?
