Try this place...it looks like they have several used copies available:
Half.com / Books / The Complete Idiot's Guide to American Literature
Good luck.

Thanks, but those are both more than twice the price of acquiring an eBook directly from the publisher's storefront (
US Book Shop and Online Bookstore - Penguin Group (USA)). I'd recommend that if it isn't at your local library, and you can suffer through reading an eBook, one should buy the eBook. I'd much rather hold a book between my hands, but for twice the cost for what amounts to a textbook I'll read over briefly and not even use for even a week's time, I'd go the eBook route. Too bad I can't donate it afterwards, though. Stupid DRM5.

Kiwi Lover Wrote:I'm sorry - I goofed. I "heard" Literature mentioned, and I immediately thought you were talking about the "Analyzing & Interpreting Literature" exam. That is what Petersons test I was referring to.
When I used to take the Peterson practice exams, I always paid the $20 for the exam (because my employer reimbursed me), so I'm not exactly sure where (or if) you can still do the free exams. I'm sure someone in the forum will be able to say....

I understand that the "Analyzing" exam is much easier. I took (and passed)the Am Lit exam after spending about a week in the Complete Idiots Guide.
