Just need one for salary bump. Currently hold MA Education degree. EdD preferred but other degrees would work too. Rockhurst has 2 year degree but would want to see if any of the state schools for just a little better face value in terms of names. 2 year is ideal. Capstone project would be better than dissertation. Anywhere along the line of psychology, social work, occupational therapy probably work as well.
Any recs? Somewhere not horribly expensive though (not more than 20k a year)

There have been a few options I would recommend from the Grad Sub Forum, you may want to take a look at ACE.edu first and do a search to see what other ones may fit your requirements. You can also do a search on the sister board as well, DegreeInfo has a few recommendations too...

Since price is not your biggest concern…that leaves you with a lot of options.
Doing the global MBA at ENEB using the Agile Methodology (if you register now you can still make the April exams I believe) and then transferring to the DHA program at VUL could be one of the fastest route.

Given that your MA is education, my spidey sense is tingling... does the doctorate you pursue need to be Regionally accredited or will national accreditation suffice?
Just want to point out that if you work in education, your employer may not accept a degree that doesn't hold regional accreditation...VUL for example is not regionally accredited, and their DHA would not give me a raise working as an adjunct at my local community college. A degree from ACE on the other hand is regionally accredited and WOULD give me a raise.

Further to the previous suggestion to ACE.edu, your initial post doesn't have most of the info requested on the addendum and template, we don't know your age, budget, commitments, state you reside in, study habits, work schedules, etc. It's great you're looking at doctoral studies, but any doctorate without a dissertation, may not have RA, there are also international options too. Do you have a short list of institutions besides Rockhurst? What have you looked at already? Link:

Liberty University might be an option. They offer an EdD program with a capstone, $595 per credit, and they accept up to 50% of transfer credits.

Also, check out South College's competency-based EdD. They should be switching over to capstone projects soon. It costs $6000 per term; you move at your pace.

Cheapest and fastest I can think of is the Doctor of Healthcare Administration at Virginia University of Lynchburg. Last I heard it was $18K and took 1 year to complete. Read up on it first though to see if it will fit your needs. There are some threads on it here.
