With the new different Capstone versions, is it not possible any more to get a single Bachelor's degree with an Area of Emphasis (or whatever TESU calls their Majors in the BA degrees) in something like History and Computer Science combined?

You have a choice of which capstone to do from the two majors. For example my son will be doing LIB-4950 for history rather than the CS option for his BA.

Interesting. I wonder if that is the case because he locked in a prior catalog. For new students, that may not be an option any more, correct? I understood it that, in the future, you might have to do 2 Capstones even if it is a combined degree (rather than two degrees).
But all this might not be clear right now.
I was asking because our daughter is considering an eclectic course mix for a combined degree in CS and Art (she is planning to get the studio art courses, like drawing an painting, using dual enrollment either at a local community college or at Pierpont).

My understanding from the Registrar is that two capstones are only needed if you are doing the two degrees separately, eg graduate with Art and then come back later for CS.

Thanks. That would be great! I will find out soon, when our oldest is old enough to enroll. I will post here if I find out new info.

A double major should result in a single capstone, as long as they're both BA... If the second degree is a BS/BSBA, it'll require a second capstone as this would be treated as two degrees.
