Isn't this only for Guild partners?

Meaning you need a referral from someone that works at those Guild partner companies?

I'm not affiliated with any Guild partner companies and I got this email.

The specific email I got is for friends and family of an "eligible student" with no mention of Guild partners.

Quote:Recipients must have received a referral voucher from an eligible student and must present the voucher/authorization code
to their Admissions Advisor at the time of enrollment. Authorization code will not be accepted after enrollment is completed
and the student has been accepted into his or her program.

The poster said was going to school via Walmart's back-to-school program.

According to the Terms of service:
"Recipients must have received a referral voucher from an eligible student and must present the voucher/authorization code to their Admissions Advisor at the time of enrollment."

Don't have much time to get things together in time to enroll by late December.  We have 1 or 2 students on DF that may be ready by then.

Only two free courses though.

I also got this email from Purdue University Global today and I am not employed at an affiliated business. So if you haven't attended before, I would definitely encourage applying with the code regardless of where you are employed. (My code was the same, so apparently they aren't actually tracking who referred you--unless there is somewhere on the application to write down the referer's name in addition to the code.)
