Omitting the Petersons (which is one of the three I've taken) I've taken the official DSST practice test ($5) and bought this guide for $10
College Test Prep Guide Purchase Contact Info
That guide has a test of 85 questions which it says in the beginning that the questions are actual questions from previous MIS exams.
Both exams vary in what they ask of you though which is why I'm having a hard time gauging my knowledge.
I've used the official DSST tests a few times and I think they're a pretty good indicator of the real thing. That being said, I have to agree with gingerbeefE and say that it does seem like they focus on one subject. And I wish that they would give you a 100% feedback of the practice tests, rather than just the ones that you get wrong. Every time I take a PT or real test, that's what I put in the feedback box. :-P
Sometimes I wish that I had some IT experience... :-) Did you know that you only need a 58-62% correct to pass? I think that that's a really low percentage, but I'm finding out that it's pretty much the norm for DSSTs. I suppose I should be glad, but it sort of makes me feel not too smart, if you know what I mean. But I know I'll be glad when I take the real test.
Have you taken Principles of Finance DSST? I think I'm doing that one next and I'd like to know what it's like.
