There's that one proctoring company where student information (including IDs) was stored in plaintext for anyone - or at least other students - to find if they poked around a bit. That's just... ouch.

This and the project management risk management course were the most difficult for me. Those exams were rough. I had like 5-10 minutes to spare on both of them.

This is fantastic. Essay / problems for finals is wayyyy better than exams

I just finished Financial Management last week. It was the longest, tedious, difficult class for me so far. You were all so right about that class! Wow, I am so happiy to have that done!

In the course it states that Brightspace uses "Respondus" for proctoring exams/tests, but that only applies if they're doing exams/tests and not going strictly assessments and assignments. I've seen this shared around on Discord and the Sophia-UMPI facebook group also, but again I think it's just the confusion from the Brightspace intro course.
People are saying that there won't be any exams, but I doubt it for classes like math.

Did you start back in July? I was curious how that class was. I wonder if Sophia will ever have it.

I concur. I just took EDU 302 at UMPI and it was a fantastic course talking about PBE. I think with the move to PBE, UMPI will eventually just rid itself of exams (I doubt with the math classes though). Its hard to measure competency with an exam.

What's PBE? Jessica has already told several students that exams are going away with the move to Brightspace. All of the math classes don't have an exam on Strut. Math classes will move to math problems.

SNHU uses brightspace. They have lots of essays, exams for classes like math don't use any proctoring, and they also have projects for certain classes.
