Hello friends, I am looking for the quickest way to finish a Bachelor's. My intent was to finish traditionally but the pandemic and being a single mom to 2 has now put me in the position of needing to finish quickly. I'm kind of thinking a BSBA from TESU or some sort of Liberal Arts degree. I'm not tied to Business, but i'm thinking that will be the quickest route because I have UL credits in that area.
Here's what I have (all credits are from RA Florida State schools) and thank you for any help you can provide.

You're right; with the UL credits you have, a BSBA degree would probably be the quickest/easiest.
I think that Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, and Project Management would all fall under the "Management Category" while "Marketing Management" might fall under "Marketing". If that's the case, you'd just need one more UL class in either Finance or Accounting to be able to get a BSBA General Management. There are other BSBA areas of study that you could pick but they would likely all require more UL credits. You'll still have some LL courses but the UL ones are the hardest.
Your best option would be to apply to TESU, send in all your credits, and then report back here with your evaluation. If you've got transcripts at more than one school, you're going to want to PAY FOR but NOT TAKE the Medical Terminology TECEP for $50 as soon as TESU processes your application.
As an "applicant student", you only get 2 transcript evaluations and then they stop evaluating. As a fully enrolled student (which you can become by taking one class or one TECEP exam), you unlock unlimited evaluations. See this page for instructions on how to register for the TECEP in question: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/TE...structions
It looks like you've got most of, if not all of, your general education requirements met. You just need a handful of business classes from places like Sophia and Study.com.
While waiting for TESU to process your transcripts, you can start working on the following courses at Sophia:
Micro & Macro economics, Principles of Finance, Human Biology (probably not necessary but a good quick course just in case), Project Management, and Introduction to Business (I'm not sure this one is necessary either).
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

The only things needed at TESU for the BSBA are 36cr:
English Comp II
Managerial Accounting
Business Communication
Principles of Management
Principles of Marketing
Principles of Finance
International Business
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
1 additional course in the AoS from either Accounting or Finance (and it can be LL)
Cornerstone
Capstone
Everything can be completed at Sophia, Study.com and/or Davar.
Cost at TESU for tuition & Fees (so price remaining after transferring in 114cr): $6,654
=============================================================
A smidge shorter and cheaper would be the BPS at EC; it only needs 34cr:
English Comp II
2 UL Arts & Sciences courses (can be done via Study.com)
Principles of Management
Foundations of Leadership
Strategic HRM
Principles of Finance
International Business
1 additional UL course in the AoS
Info Lit (EC's 1cr course)
Cornerstone
Capstone
Cost at EC for tuition & Fees (so price remaining after transferring in 113cr): $5,300
==========================================================
Courses I would not take at Sophia, since your GE and Free Electives at both schools are filled:
Human Biology (you have nowhere for it to go since you already took 2 science courses that xfer to TESU and 1 that xfers to EC)
Project Management (already done)
Introduction to Business (nowhere for it to go at either school)
==========================================================
Forgot to mention a 3rd option: a BLS at UMPI
Since you have so many credits, you might want to go to Study.com and take Bio w/Lab and US History I or II, and then go to UMPI for the rest, including Comp II (it's shorter and easier at UMPI than Sophia or Study.com).
You're required to take 30cr at UMPI, and you only need 5 courses in the Management Minor; so you can either take additional courses in other areas, or better yet, take a 2nd minor like Accounting or MIS or Project Management (if you do this one, tell them not to bring in your PM course since you need theirs to fulfill the remaining requirements).
The cost is $1400/8 week term, so you could conceivably finish in 2 terms ($2800) or 3 terms ($4200), cheaper than either of the others.

Wow! Thank you so much. Of the three listed is either one going to be a significantly quicker path or generally considered easier?

For TESU, you need 100 credits to take the Capstone. Right now you got 84 credits.
If you hustle, you could start TESU for the August term, then you are done by end of October. Otherwise, you would be starting in September and be done by end of November.
For UMPI, you would most likely be starting 08/30/21 and with 2 terms you are done end of December.
As far as which school is easier, they are somewhat similar. With UMPI you don't have to take a Capstone which that 1 class by itself can take 80 hours to complete. The cornerstone SOS-110 takes like 30-40hrs to complete at TESU.
The BLS at UMPI is easier but will the BABA cause your graduation date to be extended? Probably not.
For TESU considering you already got a bunch of business UL, you may as well finish it. The liberal arts looks like it wouldn't save time.

I'd say "easiest" is going to be UMPI, but that's because there's no capstone. But you'll have to write papers for some courses, so that may make up the difference, I'm not sure.
They'll all basically be as fast as you want - because TESU & EC are going to allow you to bring in almost everything, so it's a matter of how quickly you finish each course you need on Sophia/Study.com/Davar, etc. Then the Cornerstone & Capstone at TESU will take 12 weeks, I think they are each 8 weeks at EC. UMPI is going to require fewer courses up front that you need to bring in, but then you go as quickly as you can through the remaining courses (all in the concentration/minor I think).
So really, in all cases, it's up to you.
If it were me, I'd probably choose the UMPI BLS with 2 minors; I think it will be the cheapest/fastest and has great minor choices.
2nd choice - TESU, since you have your UL courses and it's just a matter of the remaining LL options.
EC is a fine choice, but it's not going to be cheaper than UMPI, and it's not faster than TESU.
The UMPI BABA is also a decent choice, but it would require more upfront courses to take, so I think it will slow you down/require more work. I'd rather spend all of my time there on the concentration/minor courses which will probably be more interesting.

Hi Mom! err, khwmom24 I meant... you may actually want to complete some Sophia.org courses that doesn't duplicate what you currently have. I would suggest applying to the three and see which program is closest to completion for you. By completing Sophia.org courses, you get a free application to Excelsior. UMPI is free to apply to as well, you will only need to pay for transcripts for both of these institutions. If programmatic/secondary accreditation matters to you, and you're going for a Business degree, TESU has ACBSP, Excelsior is IACBE, and UMPI is "plain jane RA" (without programmatic accreditation for their business programs).

If you just want a degree based on your list of courses I would recommend the BLS from UMPI. You have completed quite a bit of the GEC (their general education requirements). If you complete some classes on Sophia and Study.com, you could easily finish your degree in 2 terms at UMPI - possibly 3 if you don't progress through the courses fast enough. The BLS does not have a cornerstone or capstone or anything like that.

Thank you so much! I have applied to TESU and UMPI. I’ve request my transcripts be sent to both. Now I’m waiting and talking to my mom about joining me. She is really impressed with all my borrowed knowledge. Lol
