I applied yesterday to Pierpont. My only issue is that I'm missing the English credits. Is Study.com the best approach to get the 6 English credits before the Fall semester?

Yes, it's a mixed bag for English I & English II, some like the Straighterline course as it's got no final but a bit more writing, so... I've been saying this before, Straighterline for the speed, Study.com for the ease... I would review their course details before beginning. Actually, If you're on a Straighterline monthly membership already, it maybe cheaper. Study.com for these courses maybe easier/faster. You're right, it's easier at Study.com English 104: College Composition I Course - Online Video Lessons | Study.com

I finished my College Composition I in State College a few years ago. I needed College Composition II for the purpose of this program at Pierpont. They would not accept my Business Communication course because it articulated as a BUS class and not COMM or ENG. Anyhow, I cranked out the College Composition course at SL in a few days. Including the writing portion, obviously. I am fortunate in that I write very well. I have spent over 10 years writing columns for a music industry magazine. Creating content and writing comes very easy for me. Not being a braggard, trust me, I am a derelict when it comes to Algebra. That is NOT my subject, for sure. Anyhow, I was completing the writing faster than they could grade it. I like the Straighterline program. Cheap and effective, especially if you are already enrolled and paying the monthly membership already.

Mine is still only showing 25 (of 67) community college credits on my transcript. Gave up on wvncc. They took months and only did a handful of credits onto my transcript.
