Pierpont AAS- Thank You!
#1
Big Grin
Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. I really appreciate how helpful and welcoming this forum is. Because of the wealth of information here, I was able to complete the Pierpont BOG AAS smoothly and quickly.

I applied to Pierpont on 10/14/21 and the degree was conferred on 12/3/21. I followed Wiki instructions to the letter. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC

I have RA credits from two different Community Colleges. I sent the transcripts electronically and the RA credits were added to my Pierpont transcript in a matter of days (2 or 3).

My Sophia (ACE) credits were housed with Credly, and those transcripts took about 3 weeks/month to add. I was told by Pierpont Student Services that ACE transcripts can take longer to add, especially if there are a lot of credits.

The minute the ACE transcripts were added, I emailed Nancy, and she stated that I met all degree requirements. I submitted my graduation application that same day and since this also happened to be the cutoff date for the December graduation term, the degree was conferred immediately.

I have been trying to finish a degree for years, so this is a big deal. Thank you all!

Congratulations, you're now a college graduate!

Are you also considering continuing on to getting a Bachelor's degree or is the Associate enough for you? Either is valid; whatever works for you!
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

Thank you. I definitely want to continue. I’m figuring that out now.  I’m reading so many great posts about UMPI. That may be the next move for me.

Congrats, that's great! Associates crossed off for the win! So, I guess you're taking a short break before the "next" education journey? What's it gonna be?

Thank you! I actually want to get started on a Bachelors right away.

I always had my eye on one of the Big 3, but now I’m considering UMPI.

I’ll probably post all of my credits and get some insight on creating a degree plan.

I’m very excited to get started. Smile
