Considering that Pierpont has a lot of threads in the General "Big 3" group here, why doesn't it have its own Specific College Discussion?

That might be a good idea. It would have to be discussed with the site owner, but the popularity of Pierpont does make having a separate section more attractive.

It really depends, I don't think there really needs to be a sub forum for them as the WIKI and posts/threads already cover the bulk of the questions (if any that aren't covered, more threads can be made). Furthermore, they're 'easier' to complete than a Bachelors as they're a very simple Associates degree, most members are using them as a stepping stone, but others who go to TESU or UMPI, can add an associates free on route to the Bachelors already, for them, there really isn't a need unless they're going for a BAS at UMPI...

I agree PP should be listed on the main forum as it's own section. I've been trying to help others since I've graduated and it's a pain searching for the threads etc all the time.

PM the admin/webmaster and he'll get that looked at, if there is a need for that sub forum, I guess I am on board as well... I guess the main reason it wasn't added was because the other subforums were all geared to college/universities that award bachelors. I would assume we can create a subforum right under the General "Big 3", B&M colleges, and other colleges, the same way we created a "Doctorate" sub forum under the Graduate forum.

Maybe a subforum for associates. Then inside this forum one for Pierpont? Just an option to make it more organized in case in the future the thing expands. I know that an associate cost the same than a bachelor, but still is people asking for them over and over. Maybe making a direct subforum with a sticky saying it helps?

You could make a forum called "Pierpont and other associates degrees."

90% of colleges discussed here are the main ones under Specific College Discussion: TESU, EC, COSC, WGU, UMPI and PP. I would just throw PP under UMPI on the main page, it's a very popular degree here. Just my 2 cents.

If Pierpont is added to the specific college discussion group I think it should be made clear that it is for "(Associate Degree only)" or some other wording that makes it very clear. As it has been mentioned prior, this forum's primary focus is bachelor degrees and the main thread index page should not lose sight of that. Pierpont has been significant now for quite some time, and seems to be a school that will remain so for the foreseeable future; just like adding UMPI and WGU it seems practical to add Pierpont.
