I just passed MIS and computer applications.
I barely maded it for MIS I got 49 and the passing point was 46, I know I heard from people that this was an easy Exam, I thought it was very tricky because of the abbreviated questions throught out the Exams in regards to Management Information Systems.
Please please if any one trying to do this Know everything on Prototyping, GDSS, ESS, CMOS. MIRC, BPI, POS, TCP/IP/ FTP, and many more,
I knew what the where if when they were written in full, but I had a shocked when more of the Exam had abrevations, that's when I got confused, because there is really a thin line between all those letter.
As for Computer Info $ Applications, I thought I failed too, but was suprised and happy that I got 58.
I have to go out quickly if you need more info in these test, I can provide more info

CONGRATULATIONS on your two passes! I'm sure you're glad to have two more behind you. And thanks for the extra tips for the MIS exam; I didn't find that exam particularly easy either, so I know what you mean about that one! I'll copy and paste your tips into the Specific Feedback section.
Well done!

I know what of all but two of those abbreviations are (GDSS, ESS, just looked them up, I recognize them after seeing their meanings again, must have forgotten), but I'm unsure if I know what MIRC is. Are they referring to mIRC, the IRC client, or something else? It would be odd to refer to mIRC as the IRC client on an MIS exam.

Mstcrow, sorry Imeant MICR (Magnetic Ink character recognition) used by the banking industry I knew it, but haveing it with many similar abbrevations I got confused
Some questions on CGI come abbreviated in both the Exams MIS, and Computer application
Please if you attend to write MIS be sure to spend time really knowing the Request for quation (RFQ) RFI Request for Information and all those requests in this category because they can be a bit confusing especially for someone who does not have that much backgroup in Information systems
The other one that I remember seeing a couple of question in both Exams is the EDI and the GIF, PCX formats
Know all your teamwear, groupware, shareware, freeware, etc
I also have a number of questions on SCP, SCE and CPFR. that's all Icould remember.
For those that want I have a Larry Long Computer book very good supplemt if you have time to study bot, I learnt alot about the Health care Industry from there and other things and I had some number of questions from that book
