I recently scored a 443 on the Dantes Substance Abuse exam using only Instantcert's flashcards as a study guide.
I found instantcert's flashcards to be very close to the substance abuse exam.

The exam refresh data sheet from DSST on this exam (all the others that were refreshed in the 08 cycle) says that multiple versions of the tests were designed to have only 30% of items in common.
That's a surprisingly little similarity between tests, imo. But it explains why the last poster and I had had opposite opinions. You never know what you're going to get. Either way, I think most people would be fine with just the flash cards and the forum tips. But if my job was hinging on it... I'd check those additional sources. :p

I scheduled this test next Saturday and am a little worried about taking it, but just want to get it over with. THis is my first DSST/CLEP. I have been studying, but not consistently... Is the multiple choice 4 options or 5? I have noticed I do way better on sample quizzes if they are only 4 options opposed to 5. Im thinking about studying my butt off tomorrow night and bumping the test to this Saturday instead....I really want to get it over with.
Was there any particular part of the test they really go in depth about or it just basic stuff about the drugs? Do you have to know specific pharmacological terms and stuff?
Thanks
