I was trying to get my Transcript/Diploma through Parchment and it wasn't coming up on the site. I emailed Parchment support and they responded with " it seems that we do not cater transcript/diploma requests for your school."
UMPI's registrar e-mailed me and said "I will be sending the upload of your information to Parchment, our diploma vendor. When they confirm it, you will receive an email from them with a digital copy. When you confirm your address they will then mail out a hard copy."
I'm so confused. Can anyone clarify this for me?
Thx!

@mikehart82, they've moved over to Parchment recently, so... the newbie on the Parchment side may have done things a little too quickly and 'missed' the school name. Anyways, guess what? There isn't a clarification that can be made, we don't know their front or back end, nor how they actually work. You just need to be patient and wait for UMPI to send them the request as per their instructions... Tada!

Your degree hasn't been conferred yet. When did you graduate? It takes 4-8 weeks for degrees to be conferred after grades are submitted. Once your degree has been conferred, you'll get an email with the link to Parchment to request your printed diploma.

Yeah, this is strange. Parchment's search for schools shows the Northern Maine College in the town, but not UMPI.

Hi, I had this same issue. I called Parchment and they said that the school use them for diploma delivery but the transcripts are actually from a third party called National Student Clearing House. I went on their site and you can in fact order your transcripts from there.

National Student Clearing House is the 'main' party, the third party really is Parchment and all those other options such as Credly, and whatever options there are... Everything goes to the NSCH, agencies such as Credly, Parchment are feeding off NSCH for products and/or services...

When in doubt you could always read the UMPI trancsript request page. No mention of Parchment.

For what it’s worth, I requested a Prometric transcript on 3/6/24 to be sent to UMPI via Parchment and it was just received today.
