PUG IT transfer credits
#1
I've recently been chatting with a PUG advisor and I was querying how IT certifications transfer over.

I mentioned that on the IT transfer page https://www.purdueglobal.edu/alternative...ion-exams/ it lists for example, Azure Fundamentals and 4 PUG course equivalents, IT222, IT227, IT303 and IT306. I asked to confirm if that means it meets all those requirements and if so, how are the credit transfers calculated?

They advised that for any cert I transfer in I can apply it against only one equivalent - is that right?

No, I think they were thinking of something different. If you did the Azure Fundamentals, you'll get credit for those 4 courses listed. I believe what they were trying to say is, if you take Azure Fundamentals and then take Azure Solutions Architect Expert, you can only have the "one" set of equivalents, as the 4 classes are duplicated, you can't get double the credit for duplicated classes.

Yeah, when I got IT cert credit from PUG, there were many certs I received multiple courses of credit for -- including, in fact, your example of Azure Fundamentals. I'm pretty sure bjcheung77 is correct in where the confusion may be with the PUG advisor.
