SNHU Transfer New Credits after Enrollment - Can or Can't?
#1
I hate creating threads for simple questions... but could not locate the thread to ask the question. I apologize.

I think I've seen different responses to this question, but:

If I enroll into SNHU program with 18 transferred credits, and then do some Sophia/SDC/Arizona EL/whatever credits in a parallel way while studying at SNHU, can I transfer these "new obtained" credits to SNHU program I am enrolled in?

the reason I ask is I want to start ASAP probably at my current status.

In brief, yes, you can do any other credits while you're working on SNHU courses...SNHU is 8 week terms, just like UMPI, every two months there is an enrollment period, and I always recommend people to have their Sophia.org or whatever else completed BEFORE starting SNHU or UMPI. The main reason is you're paying a subscription fee for Sophia.org, Study.com, StraighterLine, whatever provider you're thinking of.

As always, I usually recommend one provider at a time, such as starting with Sophia.org, then Study.com, finish at SNHU. It's better to get everything done first and have them transferred before you start, you don't want to spend your SNHU time doing anything else, you'll want to focus on each provider at a time and follow a degree plan you create with a spreadsheet for reference and tracking purposes...

I would check SNHU's website or catalog for info. Many schools don't accept transfer credit once you're enrolled.

SNHU will allow you to continue bringing in credits while you're enrolled.
