Have you taken any exams yet? I'm wondering about the grading for Outlier courses - is scoring a high GPA doable?
I have taken midterm 1 and 2 for precalculus and intro to business and the midterm for intro to philosophy(only one midterm), I staggered my start date for intro to statistics and don't officially start until the 14th. Knock on wood but as long as I don't bomb the final essay for intro to philosophy and keep do well on the final exams for intro to business and precalculus I should end up with a B or an A for intro to business, at least an A for precalculus, and at least a C but potentially an A for my philosophy class(not feeling very confident in my final paper but I have until the 26th to turn it in.) So I'd say yes, getting a high GPA is doable but it hasn't been a cakewalk either.

I missed the information webinar. Can someone who attended highlight the keypoints in a summary?

99% of what was said was stuff we already knew and was already public on their site or the brochures.
Some newish things:
- It looks like there may be more flexibility to switch around some classes, which makes sense since most colleges except WGU have some flexibility.
- There will opportunity and possibly requirements to get more than 1 of the industry certificates. Also, you should be able to transfer one or more of these in.
- They confirmed that they accept ACE courses and didn't mention a limit on them.

If someone has all of these covered previously, will he finish faster and cheaper?

It probably depends on the source and total number of transfer credits.

You can transfer in up to 45 credits so you'd still have to do 15 there. By definition paying tuition for 15 credits is cheaper than paying for 60. Faster will depend on course availability since degree+ programs rely on outlier for it's courses and outlier hasn't released all of the courses yet.

Exactly. This. You really need to know if they will accept all 45 credits coming from alternative sources, we don't know the "hard" limit yet except the number 45. So, like most of the recommended institution or providers we recommend, they also have that hard limit of 75% transfer at the undergrad level, they most likely will allow a transfer of specific courses and a set of required courses done at the institution.

Hi
When did you start your Associate degree by GGU through Outlier?
I am thinking to start with them too?
Are their any other similar options available?
What made you select them ?
Are there many students in Discord Channel, where they add all students who are doing Associate.
Do you get Alumni benefits / career services / online library access from GGU ?
