Best cheap Associate of Arts degree?

I've been exploring various options for getting my education degree, and I got the Pierpont BOG AAS. In addition to other options, I was considering doing my local community college's Bachelors of Education because of how cheap it is. It would take longer than WGU or UMPI, but in the long run it would probably be better for me personally. Unfortunately, they require an AA instead of an AAS, and they said I can't finish my AA at the community college because I fulfilled too many of the requirements and I can't take classes for my residency that aren't required. I didn't know this, and I don't know what to make of it. Are there any other AA programs online that are cheap and I could finish in a few months?

Another affordable possible option is Diné College ($55/credit).
They have an AA in Education and accept up to 40 transfer credits into the associates:

System360, hmm, interesting enough, what I was thinking was getting the UMPI AALS and laddering that to the BAS with a couple minors in addition to the MAOL, you can then finish your local community college Bachelors in Education, and if you have the energy, money, time left, you can do the UMPI MAOL and get the balanced mix trifecta of certs, degrees, experience I always recommend! If you do consider the UMPI route, double check that the community college allows a second bachelor’s. Some do not.

That makes absolutely no sense to me.  Is there any chance you talked to someone who was mistaken?  I have never heard of an AA being required for a bachelors.  I guess anything is possible.  But it seems really odd.

And that's the reason I linked the previous thread in my reply, it's confusing if this is the FL institution or the IN institution they're going towards... There are no names for the institution they're trying to get the Bachelors of Education from. Florida state community colleges have some very weird requirements for their Bachelor's programs. This is the college I was considering going to, despite the extra time it would take. I'm changing my plans on the fly here, trying to figure out my best next move. https://irsc.edu/programs/education.html Also, I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with the education advisor while she insisted that I could not enter the Batchelor's program without an AA, and my AAS, which I'll get in August, won't cut it. I think if I can't get an AA, I'll just keep doing my original plan of getting a UMPI Batchelor's degree and going to an Educator Preparation Institute. This board has been extremely helpful.

That's what I would suggest as well, you can add the MAOL to the degree list if you have the energy, money, time to spend. You can do the IRSC Educator Preparation Institute 1 year program right after the MAOL...
