Hi All!
Posted about this in the body of a previous thread, but wanted to get the word out to everyone as I know this stands to affect a lot of people (for the better). I called Ohio U yesterday for some info re: their credit-by-exam system and was told that as of Fall 2012, they will be switching over from their current quarter-semester-hour system to the standard 3-credit hour system.
Hopefully this helps those of you who, like me, are seeking shortcuts via exam-based credit wherever and whenever possible.
All the best!

Welllll, it's about stinkin time lol. Seriously, that was THE reason I never looked into their exams, I didn't want to mess with decimal credits and partial transfer. <yuck> This is great news!

Jennifer - I couldn't agree more. Granted, I'm new to all this, but it would seem to me that the quarter system would be a disadvantage to everyone and really hinder prospective students from taking advantage of it. Like you said - "about time"! :-)

My pleasure! This board has been so incredibly kind and helpful to me - I'm just happy I had the info to share. We're all in the same boat here, to varying degrees, so every little bit of info helps.

IN FACT, I just opened an account for my HS son. As soon as they make the change, I think he'll take some of their indy courses.
