Here is a BSBA in General Management and a BALS, both from TESU.

Total cost for either degree is $1976!!!

Is that a kind of loophole? Normally, TESU will be about $3000. If I take 7 TECEP exams, will that bring the cost down to $1976? Or $1976 plus the cost of the 7 TECEP exams?

The OP is active-duty military, so not only does he/she get to take CLEP and DSST exams for free, but he/she also gets a special military deal at TESU, where TECEP's count for residency.

Up until last year, regular people could also use TECEP's for residency (I am under the 2015 catalog, and I fulfilled my residency via TECEP's).  But that went away under the 2016 catalog.

Pelican, there is no loophole. That is only for service people.
Each school is different and COSC/Excelsior have similar pricing.

I thought I updated the pricing for TESU but only did partially for civilians and forgot the "service people" such as military/navy etc. It depends on where you want to "take all your courses" as I did a calculation for service people, it's cheaper at COSC, but I would still recommend TESU over them for ease of finding course equivalencies.

I updated COSC/Excelsior properly though with two pricing structures showing in the Beginners Guide sticky.
For some reason, I have COSC at $1215 so that's significantly cheaper than civilians, Excelsior is at $2500.

It's part of their military tuition structure that the rest of us don't get.
