Assuming the equivalency page is up-to-date, StraighterLine's Managerial Accounting (ACC150) is also equivalent to Cost Accounting (ACC-303). $59 for the course plus the $99 membership.

I thought they downgraded that so it's no longer UL. It's been my understanding that no SL courses are UL these days.

Any programming language should work for the CIS certificate. (I currently have Python Programming from SDC applied.)

Electives for the computer science certificate need to be in computer science (not computer information systems). (CIS-107, CIS-311, and CIS-351 aren't being applied when I run a what-if.)

I'd check with an advisor about specific courses/sources, but there's no minimum number of upper-level credits for certificates. I was told that by Don.

Your what-if may be wonky or something. I got the CIS courses for the CS certificate directly from the TESU page here: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/Current/...er-Science

Thanks for the certs wiki, if I recall correctly, all the undergrad certs for business can be had with alternative credits, and can be lower level alternatives too! Further to that, if someone was to get a BSBA, the only two concentrations that doesn't have a cert is Entrepreneurship and International Business. So, if someone is interested in a BSBA with those two concentrations, and have the energy/time to complete the certs, they can go crazy doing so! *Literally crazy! I suggest only if you're young and have plenty of free time*

Personally, I'm probably getting the Operations Management cert because it'll only require one additional SDC course after my BSBA CIS is filled out. Also tempted by Marketing, but not sure I want it.

I'd heard for years that you had to have 9cr of UL for a cert.

Apologies for being lazy here, but someone probably already knows off the top of their head -- what happens if you're not trying to earn these concurrently with a TESU bachelors? Not possible? Or possible but at a not-worth-it expense?

There's a separate residency waiver fee if you don't earn at least half of the credits through TESU.

The certificate residency waiver fee is currently $1250.
