Looking at these degree plans on TESU's website can be confusing since what they list there as requirements are different from when you enroll and see your degree plan. Those courses are often suggested courses and not required though some are required, and you can't tell which is which.

That's why the Wiki's so are helpful as a tool to plan your degree.

As far as I'm aware, no.
But! It is a math class. So, as long as it's (still) UL math, it'll work in the "Additional AOS Electives", even if it doesn't work in the main AOS Electives. So, it'll count toward your UL requirements.

With the recent catalog change requirements, alternative credits are "easier" to complete for their degrees. It's better with the general education and free electives setup this way, I think there may be some other changes happening next year, hopefully for simplifying requirements and be minor changes. A major change I don't want to see is the "removal" of providers from their approved directory like what COSC did...

I m curious did COSC get any benefit out of it? It should understand that it filled unique niche as educational provider. Thus had quite few students with alternative credits. Wonder how many students did they attract after their changes?

Apparently, most COSC students supposedly already took most/all of their classes at COSC. So, this didn't have any effect on those students. I'm not completely sure I believe that, but I don't have access to the same numbers COSC staff does.
