New Purdue (Main) online masters in AI
#1
Purdue (West Lafayette, the main campus) just launched a masters in AI:

https://www.purdue.edu/online/ms-in-arti...elligence/

Cost $28K - not bad for a Purdue degree

Very interesting program.  There's 2 tracks - one in AI Machine Learning and the other in AI Management.  So you can be as technical or less technical as you like.

Pretty simple admissions requirements too. No entrance exams and from what I can tell, no hassle of dealing with recommendations.

Accumulated Credit: Undergraduate - 126 Hours, Graduate - 83 Hours

The cost for Purdue is at the high-cost end of the available options.

The University of Texas at Austin offers a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence for $10k, though there are other schools with affordable master's degrees in AI as well.

If $28K is high-end of cost, then Stern, Fuqua, Johnson, Tepper, McCombs, McDonough, UCB, etc. programs must be what? Lol

Once you exceed the maximum amount of student loans, which is around $40,000 for a master's degree, these colleges aren't recommended on DF.

For most people, I recommend searching for institutions that are within budget, course content, ranking, recognition in the local area, and whatever other criteria you want to place into your shortlist to bring up a balanced mix/match of institutions that are suited for you. Some are looking for more recognized institutions and are able to afford up to a certain tuition, others who can't afford the amounts can find comparable public/state based institutions that may offer something similar for a better ROI/Value and fit the budget or cost...

Just copy the following prerequisites from Purdue's website for those may concern:

For the major in AI and Machine Learning:
(1) Prior programming experience and coursework (in Python, Data Science, and/or Computer Science)
(2)Prior coursework in algorithms, calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory.

For the major in AI Management and Policy:
At least 24 months of relevant work experience.

Hmm, those requirements don't look that daunting at all, I wonder if they would take any Bachelors plus these requirements as entry. Getting some experience up to 24 months in Management & Policy might be the other thing to look at and work towards...
