You have got to wonder about anyone who writes "the honorable" in the title of their personal website.

I knew you would.
That is like an 80s style military haircut. Tyler Junior College should be ashamed of itself for awarding him degrees in general studies, liberal arts, and interdisciplinary studies. He's working on another associates in emergency management from Frederick Community College! He probably would have gone after TESC's AAS in Environmental, Safety & Security Technologies if it weren't for TESC's strict rule on not granting more than two associates. Trinity Valley CC gave him an AAS in CJ with an option in LE after Tyler Junior College gave him the same degree. These schools should create policies like TESC and Excelsior. TESC won't award a similar degree, and Excelsior requires justification for a third degree.

It's amazing that he passed the MMPI if it was required to get into the academy back in the 90s.
UptonSinclair, his website is an example of what not to do. Didn't he complain about not being able to find a job? Is this man even real? His experience and career interests pages definitely won't land him a job.
Edit: I forgot we discussed him before. Yanji knows of him, so he's real. He's also known for having a few screws loose.

Yep, that's definitely the one I remember.... "The Honorable Lt. Colonel..." Seems a bit full of himself.
So many of his degrees are so redundant.

That is a nice online CV. I have one like it, except mine is in .pdf format. I do have a web link to it on Visual CV: Matthew Hines's VisualCV - Matthew G Hines. It stands out much more than the same old sterile resume.
A.A. General Studies- TESC, 2013
B.A. History, TESC, 2014 - Arnold Fletcher Award - 4.0 GPA
M.A. Government, Security Studies - Johns Hopkins University, Class of 2018.
Straighterline - 26 courses, including English Comp. I & II, Western Civilization I & II, U.S. History I & II, Intro. to Sociology, Intro to Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Environmental Science, Science of Nutrition, Business Law, Financial Accounting, etc.
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra
CLEP: Humanities 56, Social Sciences and History 58
FEMA: 6 credits
DSST: Civil War and Reconstruction 71, Introduction to Vietnam War 69, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union 64, Modern Middle East 71.

Cool. I've never heard of that website.
LinkedIn is the easy way of doing it. It also makes it easier to network. LinkedIn, however, is completely useless as a networking tool in my field. The largest criminal justice group is filled with spammers and people crying over not being able to find a job. I have seen no sign that criminal justice agencies recruit on LinkedIn. It also didn't help me find a substance abuse counselor internship even though I'm a member of a local group.

I'm having a really hard time believing that this is not some sort of parody. First he writes at the bottom of the degree list: "I have more degrees than a thermometer. So, why can’t I get a job offer that exceeds $20,000 ??? I am a victim of the misconception that only relevant experience can produce competence and qualification." He then goes on to write under the experience section: "Wouldn't you like to know!"
That's got to be a prank, right? Some DLer just wrote the dumbest stuff he could think of in 5 minutes, right? I read some of his academic writing and it was pretty rough. Definitely not PhD quality. I would be so embarrassed if I were him. I honestly can't fathom why anyone would proudly display that stuff the way he has. 20+ degrees and certificates, he lists them all, and then has the balls to complain about employment? I'm floored here, guys. I'm truly at a loss for words.
