Middle Georgia State University has an online Doctor of Science in Information Technology (DScIT).
...all classes online,
except for
brief residencies at the
beginning and end of the
program.
Cost is about USD20K.

Application Materials
The 2023 DScIT cohort admissions deadline has passed. We will open up the 2024 application in October '23.
Application for admission
Statement of Purpose: a written statement of the applicant's professional goals and commitment to completing the degree requirements.*
Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the student's academic and technical abilities.
An M.S. degree in a discipline related (or closely related) to Information Technology (e.g. Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, etc.) conferred by an institutionally accredited institution.
A grade point average of 3.0 or greater (on a scale of 4.0) on all graduate coursework.
Two years of relevant work experience.
Current résumé.
Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
An interview may be required at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
No GRE is required for application.

Hey! Great stuff... That's a very affordable DSc IT! Interesting program to say the least.
And, wow, it seems to have several semesters, which can be completed in two years...
